ABOUT
More than a psychology center
We are a center specializing in clinical psychology, professional training and organizational development that integrates science, compassion and human transformation.
From Bogotá, Colombia, we support individuals, families, therapists, and organizations through structured processes that seek to understand human suffering in its biological, psychological, and relational dimensions.
We work from our own clinical model —the MRPBC— developed in Colombia to respond to the cultural and emotional realities of our region.

MODEL
A unique model for understanding and transforming human suffering
ICC MODEL
At the Colombian Institute of Compassion, we developed the Compassion-Based Psychological Reorganization Model (CBPRM), a unique clinical methodology that integrates neuroscience, compassion, and evidence-based psychology to help people.
How it works:
The MRPBC understands human suffering from three interconnected dimensions:
Biological
Psychological
Relational
And it articulates four fundamental pillars that allow for the generation of sustainable transformation processes:
Regulation of the Nervous System
Predictive Processing
Psychological Flexibility
Compassionate Activation

Training for Psychologists and Therapists
Learn a model. Not just a technique.
We train mental health professionals in our Compassion-Based Psychological Reorganization Model.

Consulting for Organizations
Scientifically based organizational well-being.
We design programs for public and private organizations that seek to strengthen leadership, mental health, organizational culture and well-being management.
Transformative experiences
Psychology can also be experienced from the stage
At the ICC, we believe that psychology can also be experienced outside the consulting room. That's why David Bonilla Macías has been staging "The Day I Made Love to My Ex" for more than six seasons, a show that combines theater, humor, and psychology to reflect on relationships, breakups, and emotional history.
More than a play, it is an experience that invites us to question and understand how our emotional experiences influence the way we relate to others.
A proposal that connects psychology, art, and human transformation.
• More than six seasons on stage
• Theatre, humor and psychological reflection
• For the general public, universities, and organizations
• Available for conferences and special events

TESTIMONIALS
The opinion of
our patients
"I came to ICC after years of feeling overwhelmed. The process was unlike any therapy I'd ever had: they helped me understand my distress and gave me tools I could replicate anywhere. For the first time, I feel like I've changed."
— Valentina R. — patient, individual process
"As a psychologist, the training processes changed my understanding of cases. David has conceptual and technical clarity, and the best thing is that he knows how to convey it without losing clinical warmth."
Camila M. — psychologist, graduate of the training programs
"We did the couples workshop at a time when we had already considered separating. I'm not exaggerating when I say it was a turning point. We learned to talk to each other in a way we had never been able to on our own."
— Andrés and Juliana — Building the Us workshop
"You made us say out loud what we sometimes struggle to even think about."
